Vercel integration guide
Connect the Vercel-hosted slice of your cloud-service inventory to the Sythe Labs platform with a clear, read-only setup.

The Sythe Labs Vercel integration keeps a focused Cloud Services inventory for the Vercel account or team you authorize. It inventories Vercel projects and domains so the Sythe Labs platform can maintain evidence about that Vercel-hosted slice. Vercel Enterprise teams can also send administrative activity to an authenticated audit stream for analysis.
Start in the Sythe Labs platform, choose the account in Vercel.
An organization admin starts the connection in the Sythe Labs platform. Vercel then presents its own installation flow, where the admin chooses the personal account or team to inventory.

In the Sythe Labs platform, open Integrations and choose Connect on the Vercel card.

Continue to Vercel and sign in if Vercel prompts you to do so.

In Vercel, select the personal account or team that the Sythe Labs platform should inventory, then approve the displayed read access.

Return to the Sythe Labs platform. The first inventory sync is queued in the background.
Read Vercel inventory without changing Vercel.
Vercel shows the permissions configured for the Sythe Labs integration during approval. The Sythe Labs platform uses that authorization for read-only API requests. It does not create, edit, deploy, or delete Vercel resources.

Project names and available framework, region, plan, or tier metadata.
- Domains
Domain names associated with the selected Vercel account or team.
- Not claimed
A complete inventory of services outside Vercel or control over your Vercel resources.
Stream Vercel administrative activity for analysis.
Audit ingestion is optional and separate from inventory synchronization. A Sythe Labs organization admin generates an organization-scoped stream token. A Vercel administrator with Drain permission then configures an Audit Log Drain to send vercel.audit_log.v1 events to the endpoint shown in Sythe Labs Platform.
Vercel Integration Webhooks provide a limited trail of configuration and project changes. They do not provide complete administrator auditing. Broad administrative activity remains unavailable in the Sythe Labs platform until an Enterprise Audit Log Drain is enabled.

Generate a token
Open the connected Vercel team's audit-log settings in the Sythe Labs platform and generate a stream token. The plaintext is shown once only to the authorized admin who requested it.

Create the drain
In Vercel, open Team Settings, then Drains, and create an Audit Log Drain using JSON array or NDJSON delivery.

Authenticate delivery
Copy the endpoint and custom header name from the Sythe Labs platform, then use the one-time token as the header value.

Verify the stream
Send a test event from Vercel and confirm that the Sythe Labs platform shows a recent delivery time.
What Sythe Labs retains
Sythe Labs retains normalized event identity, action, time, actor, request, location, user-agent, project, delegated-actor, and change-context fields. Sensitive values in event metadata are redacted before persistence, and the raw delivery body is not retained. Duplicate deliveries do not create duplicate ledger events.
Provider audit events follow the platform audit-retention setting, which defaults to 365 days. Retention changes apply to newly received events. Disabling the stream, disconnecting Vercel, or changing the setting does not alter expiry already assigned to accepted events.
Sync automatically, re-sync when you need to.
The Sythe Labs platform queues an initial sync after a successful connection, then schedules a daily sync at midnight UTC. Choose Sync now on the Vercel integration card to queue an on-demand re-sync without changing the daily schedule. Check the card's last synced time after a successful sync.
Change the connected account or team
Choose Disconnect in the Sythe Labs platform, then choose Connect and complete Vercel authorization for the intended personal account or team. The Sythe Labs platform removes the prior Vercel-discovered inventory and rebuilds it for the new connection.
Disconnect and uninstall
Disconnecting in the Sythe Labs platform clears the stored connection, removes Vercel-discovered services from active Cloud Services inventory, and stops scheduled syncs. Manually managed Cloud Services remain in place.
The Sythe Labs platform does not perform a Vercel uninstall. For a full teardown, disconnect in the Sythe Labs platform and uninstall or revoke the integration separately in Vercel.
